South facing, L'Ecurie is a recent barn conversion carried out with great care and attention to detail. It is part of the same long barn from which La Grange has been converted.



Everything is conveniently arranged on the ground floor. The property has two double bedrooms, plus a third smaller bedroom. There is plenty of living space, plus an excellent verandah for al-fresco dining which looks out onto a lawned garden.








The kitchen
The ground floor is beautifully tiled throughout. The main hallway leads into a fully equipped kitchen.








The living room
Double glass internal doors lead through to an
L-shaped living/dining room with a decorative tiled floor. There is a large, attractive open fireplace incorporating an efficient log burner.








The lounge is spacious, with a fireplace, a comfortable sofa arrangement, armchairs and casual tables.

The dining room has double aspect, full length French windows with views across the courtyard to the garden.








L'Ecurie double bedroom
The hallway also leads to the main bedroom which has a hardwood floor and is furnished with a Queen size bed, bedside tables, table lamps and a wardrobe. There is a window with west-facing views across open fields.

The second bedroom has twin beds, fitted carpets and a large window with views across open fields. The third bedroom also has twin beds.

The bathroom is fitted with a full-size bath/shower, hand basin and bidet. There is a separate WC. There is also a shower room with hand basin and WC.

A fabulous holiday! Thanks to Nick & Chania for a warm welcome. The Monday night BBQ's were fab... even the dodgy French Music! This gite is a great place to stay, with a warm friendly atmosphere and lots of activities on your doorstep.

We have had a wonderful time here in La Foye! The weather has made it for us, 34c most days and only one rain shower in 2 weeks! The communal BBQ on Monday was wonderful so well done Nick and Chania!  The Sunday market at Aulnay is worth a visit for fresh produce. All in all a very peaceful holiday in beautiful surroundings.

We have had a lovely time here. The swimming pool was fab and I really enjoyed the barbecue on the Monday's we were here. We made some really cool friends and had loads of fun with them. It was sad to see them go. I hope the next people that are here have as much fun as we did.

A great gîte, thoroughly enjoyed by Mum & Dad and a great hit with the two kids.  The Salle du Jour is a winner, as is the Monday "get together". Altogether, a very social and enjoyable stay. Well done Nick & Chania!
